As the end approaches, our religious liberties are being threatened on many fronts. State Religious Freedom Restoration Acts (RFRAs) are falling into disfavor. Our free exercise rights are being challenged by the LGBTQ community. Our country in many different ways is repudiating the principles of our constitution. As a result, our constitution will afford us no protection at the end. The Spirit of Prophecy warned us this would happen. We will explore these challenges to our religious liberties in Vialo Weis’ presentation Current Religious Liberty Issues. Elder Weis serves as Public Affairs and Religious Liberty Director for the Indiana Conference among other responsibilities. He is also an attorney licensed to practice law in Oklahoma.
