Timber Ridge Camp

Timber Ridge Camp is a Seventh-day Adventist Camp located outside Spencer, IN, about 5 miles from McCormick’s Creek State Park. Timber Ridge runs a full program in the summer with camps for the blind, Cub Camp (ages 7, 8), Junior Camp (ages 9, 10), Tween Camp (ages 11, 12), Teen Camp (ages 13-16) and Family Camp. The camp operates to lead campers to Jesus and develop Christian characters in a fun, natural environment.

The activities at Timber Ridge include horse-back riding, swimming, skiing, canoeing, ceramics and other crafts, and archery. The large nature center becomes a mini petting zoo with both wild and domestic animals. Each day concludes with a joint campfire by the lake.

Camp staff bond with campers throughout the week. Much of the staff are high school or college age students working for scholarships to Christian schools. Their love for the campers and love for Jesus draw the young people to God.
